Fighting for our PRIDE: School board advocacy training
Join Engage Jeffco Schools and Common Flame LGBTQ+ Justice Team for an advocacy training with PFLAG National.
This event will cover advocating to school boards for supportive, affirming learning environments for all students. Designed for advocates ready to deepen their engagement, this training will go beyond the basics to explore effective strategies for school board advocacy. Learn how to take meaningful action and strengthen your impact at the local level.
Before and after the presentation, there will be an opportunity to network and collaborate on advocacy strategies and how to apply them to our Jeffco School District.
We will stream the PFLAG presentation from the Common Flame Chapel (14350 W 32nd Ave, Golden).
