Engage Jeffco – Putting the public back in public education

November Accomplishments/Announcements

  • Jeffco Feeds Jeffco: Supporting Families in Need. The heart of our Jeffco community has always been our dedication to supporting one another. Now, we face a challenge together: the delay of SNAP benefits is impacting 22,000 households in Jefferson County, affecting the ability to buy food for many, including 13,000 children. Jeffco Feeds Jeffco, is a coordinated community effort led by Jeffco School District to ensure all students and families have access to nutritious meals and essential resources during this challenging time. Drop non-perishable items, kid-friendly snacks and personal hygiene items off at Jeffco Stadium November 8th, 9am-1pm. Or if you can’t make that time learn about more ways to support here.

  • Engage Jeffco Quarterly Connections – Topic: Onboarding and Strategy. On December 7th at the Lakewood Library (10200 W 20th Ave) Engage Jeffco did new member onboarding and worked on 2026 strategy and planning.

  • Engage Jeffco attends the board meetings so you know what is happening. Here is our “too long didn’t read” recap of the October Board of Education Meeting.
