Engage Jeffco Endorses Initiative #195 – Graduated Income Tax in Colorado

Engage Jeffco endorses Initiative #195 for a statewide graduated income tax. If passed, Initiative #195 will replace Colorado’s flat income tax with a graduated income tax, cutting taxes on the 97% of Coloradans making less than $500,000 per year and increasing taxes on the 3% making more. The measure is expected to raise $2.0 billion per year for K-12 public education, health care, and early child care and education.
